Rules and Regulations
General Code of Conduct
- Punctuality: All students must be punctual, reporting to school and all classes on time. Late arrivals may result in disciplinary action.
- Attendance: A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to be eligible to appear for examinations. Students must provide valid reasons for any absence.
- Uniform: Students must adhere to the school’s dress code and wear the prescribed uniform neatly every day.
- ID Cards: Students must wear their school ID cards at all times while on the campus.
Academic Expectations
- Homework and Assignments: All assigned homework and projects must be completed on time. Late submissions may affect the student’s grades.
- Examinations and Assessments: Students are expected to follow the school’s guidelines on examinations, including code of conduct, integrity, and honesty.
- Library Usage: The library should be used respectfully. Books should be returned by the due date, and any damage or loss will incur a penalty.
- Academic Integrity: Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of dishonest conduct is strictly prohibited and will be dealt with severely.
Behavioural Guidelines
- Respect for Teachers and Staff: Students must respect all school staff and teachers. Misbehaviour or abusive language will lead to disciplinary action.
- Bullying and Harassment: The school maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
- Use of Language: Students must use respectful and appropriate language with their peers and faculty.
- Public Property: Students should respect and take care of school property. Any willful damage will result in penalties.
Electronic Devices and Internet Usage
- Mobile Phones: Use of mobile phones and other personal electronic devices is prohibited unless permitted for educational purposes.
- Internet Usage: Students must use the internet responsibly and refrain from accessing inappropriate websites.
- Photography/Recording: Recording or taking photos on school premises is not allowed without permission from the school administration.
Health, Safety, and Hygiene
- Hygiene: Students must maintain personal hygiene and wear clean uniforms every day.
- Medical Emergencies: Students with health conditions should report them to the school’s medical officer and keep necessary medications handy.
- Prohibited Items: Smoking, consuming drugs, or carrying dangerous items such as weapons is strictly forbidden.
Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular Activities
- Participation: Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities, but they must follow all related rules and instructions.
- Representing School: Students representing the school in competitions must uphold the school’s reputation with dignity.
Parental Guidelines
- Communication: Parents should stay informed about their child’s progress and school activities by attending meetings and checking updates.
- Pick-up and Drop-off: Parents/guardians should ensure timely drop-off and pick-up as per the school schedule.
- Feedback and Complaint: Constructive feedback is welcome, and complaints should be directed to the school administration in a respectful manner.
Disciplinary Actions
- Consequences of Misconduct: Failure to adhere to the rules may result in warnings, suspension, or even expulsion, depending on the severity.
- Appeal Process: Students and parents may appeal against disciplinary actions by submitting a written request to the school administration.
